COVID-19 Vaccination Guidance

We are very happy to announce that the AAP now recommends COVID-19 vaccination for all infants, children, and adolescents 6 months of age and older who do not have contraindications to receiving a COVID-19. This includes primary series and/or booster doses as recommended by the CDC.

We at Nuheights currently vaccinate children ages 5 and up and are also awaiting our shipments of both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for children 6 months and older. We will begin vaccinating these children as soon as possible. Look for notifications on facebook and Instagram as well as on our website for when we will be scheduling Covid 19 Vaccine visits for 6 months and up as well.

It is important to note that children and teens may get a COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines, including a flu vaccine, at the same time. For further information about Covid-19 Vaccine Recommendations for Children and Teens please visit:

Allergy Tips

Allergies can feel very similar to a cold. Symptoms include a headache, stuffy nose, itchy or watery eyes, postnasal drip, cough and sore throat. Allergy symptoms can be caused by indoor allergens such as dust mites, pets, and pests as well as outdoor allergens such as pollens. Molds can be found indoors and outdoors and can also trigger nasal allergy symptoms.
