COVID-19 Vaccination Guidance

We are very happy to announce that the AAP now recommends COVID-19 vaccination for all infants, children, and adolescents 6 months of age and older who do not have contraindications to receiving a COVID-19. This includes primary series and/or booster doses as recommended by the CDC.

We at Nuheights currently vaccinate children ages 5 and up and are also awaiting our shipments of both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for children 6 months and older. We will begin vaccinating these children as soon as possible. Look for notifications on facebook and Instagram as well as on our website for when we will be scheduling Covid 19 Vaccine visits for 6 months and up as well.

It is important to note that children and teens may get a COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines, including a flu vaccine, at the same time. For further information about Covid-19 Vaccine Recommendations for Children and Teens please visit:

Infant Formula Shortage Guidance

As the formula shortage continues to put our vulnerable babies at risk, NuHeights Pediatrics would like to share with you some resources. What follows is first helpful information from www.healthychildren.org and second a chart demonstrating which formulas can be used in exchange for the one your baby is currently using. If you need to discuss further concerns about how to feed your baby we are available for telemed discussions to help you.
